2nd Ricohforum London Meetup

This is a reminder for the second official RicohForum meet up!

It’s been a while since we had our first official meetup, so it’s about the time to organize the 2nd Ricoh Forum meet-up in London.

The last meet-up weather was very cold, windy and rainy, but I’m sure everyone who was there will agree that it was nice meet-up with many interesting chats, cool (in all respects) photo walk, and with many cameras to view and try. The cold weather and busy pre-Christmas time has been the reason why there was nobody from Ricoh, except Mr. Allen from Alpha Digital, who is the main distributor of Ricoh cameras in the UK. This time, however, there will be at least one person directly from Ricoh!

Ricoh CX1 Reviews Roundup

Due to some bad weather and limited time recently I am a bit behind with updating my CX1 Review Diary. I have however updated my CX1 Sample Gallery with more pictures.
I will publish more posts about the image quality and other features such as the ‘DR mode’, the multifocus mode, some other of the more interesting features and will also try to do an image comparison with some of my other cameras. The full review will follow shortly after.

Because I have not been able to post much recently I have decided to look around at what other people have written on the CX1 and collect a few interesting reviews so you can have a look in the meantime.

Review Diary: Ricoh CX1 – Build & Controls

Another part in my ongoing Ricoh CX1 review diary. Today, I will look at the build and external controls of the camera. At the same time I will also compare it with the Ricoh R10 and see where there have been improvements and where the R10 is better.

Review Diary: Ricoh CX1 – First Impression

I am not really someone to read manuals although the CX1 has a very good manual that you can find here. Instead I go out and use the camera and learn so how everything works, with an intuitive interface as found on Ricoh cameras this is never a problem.
Since I had a day-trip planned, I thought this is the perfect opportunity to just take the CX1 out and see how it performs. I have yet to really figure out the best image settings and camera settings so chances are high that my pictures with the CX1 will improve as time goes by. This is just a short report to see how the camera performs if you just take it out and use it as a point & shoot.

Review Diary: Ricoh CX1 – Unboxing

This is the start of a new reviewing format on my blog and the first camera to be reviewed is the highly anticipated Ricoh CX1. I will post my impressions of the camera as I go along and at the end there will be a proper review about the camera in two parts to summarize everything.
